US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have assured India of help with the second wave of Kovid. America’s top leadership tweeted that it would supply health care facilities to help tackle the coronovirus crisis. “The way India helped America in times of need, we are determined to help India in times of need,” Biden said in a tweet.
In response to the US President’s official Twitter handle on the US NSA’s tweet, it said, “The way India helped during the initial phase of the epidemic, under pressure on our hospitals.” In the same way, we are determined to help India in times of need.
Along with this, American Vice President Kamala Harris also tweeted in this context. Harris wrote, “In addition to helping, we also pray for the citizens of India and courageous health workers.” This is the first response by the top US leadership after the second wave of the Corona epidemic in India. Deputy Foreign Minister Wendy Sharman said that she has been in touch with Foreign Secretary Harshvardhan Shringla and India’s Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu in recent times on this issue.
