Pappu Yadav arrested in Patna, accused of breaking Lockdown rule

The big news of this time is coming from Bihar’s capital Patna where former MP and Jan Adhikar Party chief Pappu Yadav has been arrested. On Tuesday morning, a police team led by the Town DSP reached Pappu Yadav’s residence in Patna, after which he was taken into custody and after that his arrest was also confirmed by the police.

Pappu Yadav is accused of violating the ongoing lockdown in Bihar. After being taken into custody, the police has taken Pappu Yadav with him to the Buddha Colony police station in Patna. According to the information, he is accused of obstructing government work and violating the rules of lockdown. Along with this, there is some case related to Madhepura too, although this could not be confirmed.

According to the police, he had requested Pappu Yadav to make a pass and move around. The police allege that the former MP was continuously violating the rules. The Buddha Colony police of Patna has handed over the police of Pirbhor police station to Pappu Yadav and a case will be registered in Pirbhor police station. Earlier, a case has been registered against former MP Pappu Yadav in Chhapra in Bihar as well.
