Bhopal to open its markets only 5 days a week.

Narottam Mishra , Home Minister in Government of Madhya Pradesh, announced that Markets in Bhopal will function only 5 days a week and remain shut on Saturday and Sunday.

This news came in awake of raising cases of Coronavirus in Bhopal , post the Unlock 1.0.

“Yesterday 7971 tests were done in one day , which is a record number , out of the samples 192 tested positive . Corona recovery rate in Madhya Pradesh is 69% and the situation is under control in the state. Don’t be afraid , be careful” , Narottam had said .

As per reports , Narottam Mishra had told that , the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has directed his officials to focus on Bhopal as the pandemic situation isn’t that worse in other parts of Madhya Pradesh.

The total number of Coronavirus cases in Bhopal has reached 2012 , with new 85 patients in the count. Meanwhile Indore has 3922 cases and Madhya Pradesh has a total of , 10241 cases , where Bhopal and Indore , contribute to 58% of the total number of cases in the state .

The doubling rate is 31 days in the state and the growth rate is 2.3% here , whereas the national average growth rate is 4.7% .

India has climbed up on the 4th position in the list of the countries worst hit by the pandemic. It has a total of 298283 cases . Maharashtra being the state with highest COVID-19 infections.
