Uttar Pradesh records sudden spike in COVID-19 cases .

On 15th of June , 2020 , Uttar Pradesh recorded 497 new cases. The total COVID-19 tally of Uttar Pradesh stands at 13615.
In the last 14 days , 5540 new cases have been recorded for the virus, as per reports. A 5% growth has been witnessed which is equivalent to that in Delhi and Tamil Nadu.

Since the Unlock 1.0 has taken place , the movement in the state has been increased , fear can be seen emerging as the last week had recorded sudden spike in the cases.

The spike is seen primarily in Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida) , Ghaziabad and Kanpur Nagar.

On 15th June , 2020 , Noida had recorded 70 new cases alone . Out of these 70 cases , 18 of them were just healthcare workers. The total tally has reached to 935. 12 deaths have been recorded so far cause of Coronavirus in the region .

In the last two week , the three districts have added over 21% of the total tally with , 540 cases in Noida , 336 in Kanpur Nagar and 303 in Ghaziabad.

New infections were recorded in, Lucknow with 29 new infections , Jaunpur and Meerut with 27 each , Ghaziabad with 30 , Bulandshahr with 23 , Knapur Nagar with 18 , Aligarh with 17 , Agra and Barabanki with 15 each , Hathras with 13 , Gorakhpur with 14 , Etawah with 11 , Mathura , Farrukhabad and Firozabad reported 10 each.

The Uttar Pradesh Government had told the Supreme Court that 46% of the total cases in Noida and Ghaziabad have been traced down to Delhi.
Meanwhile, India has a total of 333255 COVID-19 cases and 9524 deaths till now .
Maharashtra , Tamil Nadu and Delhi are the top three states worst hit by the virus in India.
