Noida’s Gautan Buddh Nagar, which has the maximum number of active COVID-19 infections in Uttar Pradesh, recorded 136 new confirmed cases in the last 24 hours.
As per the daily health bulletin released by the UP Health Department, the number of cured patients is 1039 in the district now.
Gautam Buddh Nagar has total of 887 active COVID-19 cases , whereas the death toll is at 20.
The recovery rate of patients has dropped from 56.76 percent to 53.39 percent in the last few days.
The following districts in Uttar Pradesh have the highest number of active COVID-19 cases :
1. Gautam Buddh Nagar -887 cases
2. Ghaziabad – 648 cases
3. Lucknow – 383 cases
4. Kanpur Nagar – 325 cases
5. Hapur – 278 cases
6. Meerut – 270 cases
7. Bulandshahar – 208 cases
Meanwhile , just a day back , 17296 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in India. Its the new highest single day spike in COVID-19 cases. India has already crossed the 5 lakh mark .
Maharashtra is the worst hit state in India , with 1.47 lakh COVID-19 cases and 7000 deaths . Meanwhile Delhi is on the second number in the list of worst hit state/Union Territory, it has already recorded 73000 confirmed cases and 2400 deaths , till now. Whereas Tamil Nadu ranks third in the same list , with nearly 71000 cases , followed by Gujarat at the fourth spot , with 30000 cases.
The recovery rate in India stands at 58.24 percent .
