India: 19,906 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, total number 5,28,859

Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in the country. Record cases are coming out every day since the rise in the corona investigation in the last few days. In the last 24 hours, about 20 thousand new cases have been reported. During this time 410 deaths have taken place.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, the total number of coronavirus infections has increased to 5,28,859. In the last 24 hours, 19,906 cases have been found. So far, there are 203051 active cases in the country, while 309713 people have been cured. So far 16095 people have died in the country due to Corona.

In the last one day, 231095 corona has been investigated across the country. The day before this, 220479 corona tests were done.

Maharashtra is still the most affected by Corona. The state has received 159133 corona patients, of which 67615 are still active. At the same time, 84245 people have recovered from fighting the disease. The death toll in Maharashtra has increased to 7273.

Delhi ranks second among the most affected. 80,188 people have fallen ill so far, of which 2558 have died. There are still 28329 active patients in Delhi. It is followed by Tamil Nadu, which has 78335 corona cases. In the state, 1025 people have died due to coronavirus.

More than one crore people have been infected due to Coronavirus in the world so far. This number has been crossed in just six months. Apart from this, 90% of the total corona cases have been reported in the last three months.

According to the WorldMeter, the number of corona patients increased to more than 51 million from late night. More than two-thirds of corona patients, 67%, appeared only in May and June. On an average, about one lakh patients are available in May and an average of one lakh 35 thousand patients daily in June.

The recovery rate in India stands at  58.56 percent. As per ICMR data, 82,27,802 samples have been tested up to June 27 and 2,31,095 samples have been tested on Saturday.

India continues to be the fourth worst-hit among 213 countries and it is now less than 2 lakh cases away from Russia, which is in the third spot behind the US and Brazil, respectively.
