On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled 1.75 lakh houses built under PM’s Awas Vikas Yojna in Madhya Pradesh. This was made possible through video conferencing with the beneficiaries. The PM also asked everyone to be cautious about the coronavirus and there should be strictness in the process till there is no vaccine available for the same.The PM congratulated all beneficiaries for getting their pucca houses today. He also said that there’s no way to add or reduce anyone’s name in the list of beneficiaries as the government have adopted a scientific and transparent method to do so.Some beneficiaries interacted with the Prime Minister and thanked him for helping them get a pucca house and providing daily wages.PM also said that this is an important step to achieve his goal of providing houses to poor prople by the year 2022 and he also called it a proof that no pandemic can stop the development work.Prime Minister Awas Yojna (PMAY) is a Indian Government housing Initiative started on 2015 to provide affordable housing to every poor by 2022.
